I was hired by Tenbeo BV, a Brussels-based AI tech company to help them create an immersive artwork, envisioned by the media installation artist Krista Kim. The piece was commissioned by Julius Baer group to be displayed at the expo Art Dubai, which took place early March 2024.
InCognite assisted the project by turning the artist’s vision into a digital interactive animation, driven by live electrocardiogram data, captured and processed with technology provided by Tenbeo.
My contribution consisted mainly of developing a processing system to turn the ECG data into a 3D generative tapestry of pulsating wires, a backend/management GUI, utilities for saving the generated datasets and color palettes, offline playback capabilities and displaying the results to a main output.
